"What is wrong with the world today?" one might ask. "Lack of faith" i might answer.
I was just watching tv and the argos aliens advert came on, may i just say i do love them! Anyway, a little argos alien kid was busy being a kid and at one point he/she(cant tell, they're all bald, lol) was on a bike and riding it on the washing line, yes the washing line. At that point i randomly thought "who even told this kid that was possible?" The answer would be a resounding "NO ONE!
Now pause and think on that...
This worldis full of "know it alls" who really dont know it all at all! A lot of people, if not most, are misplaced because somewhere along the (growing up) way they were taught what was possible and what wasnt. Someone may have told them, they may have heard it said, they may have seen people scared and that was it for them. Obviously we need to be guided sometimes, you dont always have to burn to find out you cant play with fire, you can learn by getting told "fire burns". I think we are indirectly taught to fear failure so we stay away from anything that has the potential of failing so a lot of us never realise our dreams because we are too scared to step out. Some have dreams right, then they go and pitch their dream to someone else(possibly a small minded someone else) and they get told to "get real"... What is realer than realising your dreams??? Because we seek validation from others we then often fall back and stay stuck in our comfort zone, in a place you cant fail.
Have you ever seen a kid's drawing? It hardly ever looks like its supposed to yet they keep drawing and handing those drawings proudly to their parents...you know why? No one ever told them they cant draw or that they are not good enough. We tell them its beautiful so they keep going and they keep going until we take that away from them as they grow.
How about we take back that innocence and go back to a place where anything is possible, a world where we have no limits because that is the truth. This is exactly why Jesus said said unless you receive the kingdom of heaven like a child you wont enter it.
Dont ever let anyone tell you that you cant do anything, as far as i know with God anything is possible, anything means anything, it's in our DNA. If you look to man for validation and confirmation and approval etc etc you will be limited....
BUT if you look to God...the possibilities are endless!!!!!
Do not measure your success according to those around you, forget whats on your right and left, just look ahead because real success is doing what God has called you to do.
Team Jesus all day *wink*
I want to share my experiences with people out there. i've learnt so many lessons in my life as a christian and even before i was a christian. i want others to learn the same lessons but only through my testimonies and my personal experiences. God allowed me to go through so that others might not need to. welcome to my world....

To think with your pride...
I been procrastinating this particular blog post for more than a minute now, so much that i forgot what even got me wanting to do it so much...oh wait i do remember why now but i cant say.
So thing is some of us or maybe most of us at some point use our pride to make decisions about certain things as opposed to using your heart or mind. We keep ourselves stuck in these situations because we're thinking "what will people think if i dont get this right?" I'll use myself as an example first because i have let pride make decisions for me: I was in a relationship where my guy was cheating on me and i knew it, the girl he was cheating with also knew. Now pride had me stay with this guy longer than i should have because i didn't want to be the one to lose and i felt like the longer i stayed it meant i was winning...boy was i wrong. I started winning the minute i decided i'm done!
I know a lot of people who stay in relationships for the same reason, we want to win but instead we are losing and wasting valuable time.
The worst thing pride will have you believe is that you can handle anything on your own. Imagine suggesting prayer to someone because they are in a tight spot and their response is "i got this" that would be funny if it wasn't so dumb!!! If God doesn't allow it to happen it is not happening. God can shut you down quicker than you can say "i got this". The moment you even think you can do anything without God you've basically put yourself in the place of God...if you ask that satan character he will tell you it is the worst place to try to be...actually he wont tell you because he wants you to go down with him. We are made by God for God, it is such a privilege to be able to talk to God, to be able to ask and receive from Him, it is soooo amazing to have the honour of worshiping Him and i need the world to know this.
Pride will get in the way of your progress. A lot of people want to base their dreams, plans or careers on things they are not good at. Let's say you aspire to be a dancer but you are not flexible at all and someone tells you just that or maybe you want to be a singer, and lets face it a lot of people who can not actually sing want to be singers, and someone tells you to leave that alone you're not good. Pride will have you stick with it because someone chose to be honest with you and noone likes that kind of rejection...or any kind of rejection to be honest so we want to prove them wrong.
My advice is don't let your pride do the thinking for you-it will destroy you. The bible says pride comes before a fall, best believe this is true. Recognise what you're good at and pursue that, recognise when to leave certain situations so that you dont waste time on whats not for you. No thanks to pride a lot of people are misplaced.
Pride is soooo ugly and it WILL destroy you, not that it might or could but it "will" so i encourage you to take it off and lay it before God and repent and do what you know you're supposed to do and if you dont know then ask God.
Out of our own strength we can do nothing productive, sometimes it seems things are going well for us even if we are not dependant on God but if you read the bible you'll realise God won't let that mess last, he always puts a stop to that.
So please ask yourself why you do what you, why you're still in that messy situation etc etc, basically check your motives
I love you all but God loves you best.
Don't think with your pride :)

the seemingly trivial moments...
As i went my way i noticed a young boy gently pull a little girl to the side to tie her shoelaces that had come undone,
to me it was a beautiful moment so i smiled as i passed,
that moment to them two would have been a trivial one,
but to the ones who passed by it was one to smile about,
the love portrayed by a young boy who kneels down to tie an even younger girl's shoe laces,
i couldn't help but think he knew if he left the shoe laces undone the little girl would trip over them and fall,
he was merely looking out for someone he loved to protect them from potential danger,
if we paid attention to the moments that seem trivial we would realise that life is nothing short of beautiful,
moments like a man who sees his wife coming towards him and he walks the other way and they both laugh about it,
or when someone says words like "You're not just a pretty face after all",
or someone randomly walking up to and says "You're beautiful",
or even just that random "you're beautiful" in the middle of a conversation,
or asking your dad "do i look nice?" and he answers "you always look nice"
or the bank teller that remembers how to spell your seemingly complicated name,
or a person that goes out of their way to say "you look nice",
or one of my favourites when a random stranger says "smile, it can't be that bad"
Life is beautiful if we choose to see

That other "Godside"
Right, yesterday I read the book of Amos&it got me trembling a bit. It reminded me of another side of God that I don't often think about&i'm sure most of us don't either. Amos talks about the children of God not turning to God&following after things of this world. God became fed up and so he started doing things to get their attention but we can see from them Egypt days the Israelites have always been stubborn(much like us)&always needing God to do something drastic before they turn back to God(much like this generation,we probably worse).
Amos 3:6 says "...When disaster comes into a city, has not the Lord caused it?"
Now take note of the fact that it says "a city" not "this city" or "the city" so this is general talk. This is the other side of God that I want to talk about. God loves us so much&it really breaks His heart when we chase after everyone and everything else except Him! If your husband, wife or child did that I know it would hurt you too.
You know how our parents would discipline us when we did wrong? God is the same but on a larger scale&unless we turn to God-He will keep doing stuff to get our attention so the sooner we do it the better. This applies to us as Nations or as individuals. Do not harden your hearts,it is NOT beneficial in any way. Jeremiah 2:19 says "Your wickedness will punish you, your backsliding will rebuke you. Consider then and realise how evil and bitter it is for you when you forsake the Lord your God and have no awe of me" declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.
Jeremiah 15:19 "If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless words you will be my spokesman..."
Obeying God doesn't benefit God but you! There is no greater honour than to serve Him, trust me :)
Do not under estimate God, clearly there's a lot of things we give the devil glory for when it's actually God at work for our attention&i say God always gets His. God is so loving&kind&compassionate&merciful&everything good&He isn't stupid, He isn't weak but He's patient. Serve Him for He is true, all he wants is the best for us-honestly :)
So just to wrap it up all this madness you see going on in this world isn't because of the devil(&i don't know if he is to be blamed for some of it) he isn't that powerful. I just think most of us simply want to paint a certain picture of God like merely focusing on how he blesses us and how he loves us and He is indeed all these things but He also gives&takes away as He pleases. Don't get caught on the wrong side I beg, serve God!
I think its safe to say the question "If God is so real why do we have all these bad things happening in the world?" It may not be the answer we want to give or hear but I think it's the truth.

My mind sometimes...
Right, thing is the thing: I have one grandparent left. Three of them passed away a while ago. The ones from my mum's side I grew up with them in my life,I know them and I have memories of them and I really really want to thank God for that, they were amazing! I also thank God for my grandma on dad's side coz she still lives.
But my grandfather on dad's side... I never got to know him. I know what he looks like from pictures,my dad looks like him. I'm glad he met me though because that means he died with memories of me. Now all I have left of him is what he looks like and the amazing things people say about him. I remember one of my older cousins saying "I wish you had gotten to know him", and I really do wish I had.
So sometimes I wonder if he knows I think about him a lot and how much I love him and how I actually cry for him sometimes...I don't know, only God knows! So hopefully one day I'll meet him in heaven but only God knows...

Random thought About standards....
So I'm chilling in my room thinking 'I should really be packing right now' but oh well, instead of just thinking about it I'm going to write about it. Crazy that I'm making this public but whatever,I'mma do it anyway.
Have you ever had something so good and then lost it or you don't have it anymore but you can't settle for less anymore coz you had that awesome taste. For example, I had a boyfriend once whom I was absolutely crazy about and to me he set the standard for every other guy,you either had to beat that standard or beat it! Sound crazy? Yeah I think so too! Lol,anyway so years later another guy came along and set a new standard... But it didn't work out so now I'm just wondering if and how some other guy is going to top that standard *insert thinking face here*
Another brilliant example is my relationship with God. Before I knew God he wasn't a big deal to me,I wasn't even sure he existed but that was until I was sure he existed. I won't long this one out, what I'm saying is I've had a taste of this life with God and now I want NO other. God is in a league of his own, He's incomparable and the standard he's set NOONE and NOTHING can top that! Sometimes people try to convince me that I'm missing out on this other life without God. HA! That's crazy coz I've been about that life and I wouldn't trade the life I have now for my old one,no way!!!
What was the point of this blog? I'm not sure but maybe what I'll say is always hold out for the best and when you find the best don't ever let it go...

Demonstrating faith???
So one day i was childminding for one of my cousins, at that time their son was about 1 year old or somewhere there. Now you know kids run around a lot, they are filled with so much energy and i think they all think they can do everything and anything including flying. My nephew was no different. He saw one of his toys across the room and decided that's what he wanted so he started to go for it which wasn't a problem...except it kind of was. This lil man was NOT watching where he was going, as he ran his eyes where on the toy that he wanted, that was his destination. He almost tripped over something but he didn't even stop to check what was in his way, lil man kept going till he got to where he was going!!! What's my point??? FAITH!!!
My nephew wanted something and he straight up went for it non stop and as the adult there it was my responsibility to get things out of his way lest he fall and hurt himself. He did not care what was in his way, somehow maybe he trusted that everything should move out of his way as he ran, i don't really know what was going through his mind but what came to my mind was FAITH! See as the bible says "Unless we become like the little ones we can not enter the Kingdom of God".
Imagine if we trusted God enough to go where we're meant to go without worrying about what's in the way and what could possibly make us trip and fall, without worrying about things that might make us fail our mission. Imagine if we had a little kid's mentality and our eye was on our destiny knowing and trusting that obstacles WILL move or be removed from our way... How would our lives be like then?
God is responsible for us as believers, the bible says the just shall live by faith. To me that means i go my way trusting God to stop me when i'm going the wrong way or to remove the obstacles as i go without so much as worrying. Someone said "If you can't do nothing about it, don't worry about it" so my advice to you is have no worries, have no fear and i mean that. The God we serve does not sleep he does not slumber but he watches over us constantly(check Psalm 121 and 125)
Keep your eye on your destination, how you get there is God business coz he's responsible for you!!! God is the adult in this relationship and i expect him to take care of my needs, every single one of them and i never have to worry how because He has always taken care of the "HOW"
*Proverbs 3:5-6 = Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean NOT on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight*

I dare you!!! Do you dare?
Hey there lovers, how ya'll doing in 2013? I'm feeling good as always ;)
So anyway for a while now i've been wanting to blog about this thing i'm about to write now, lol.
For a while now i've had a problem with my arm, i have this constant pain, sometimes it feels better sometimes it doesn't. One day i was at work and i moved my arm a certain way and the pain i felt was crazy!!!! Why i'm making a big deal out of it is because at this time i thought the pain was going away but do you know what i realised??? I realised that the pain had always been there but i had learnt how to move my arm and how to NOT move my arm in order to not feel the pain... Where am i going with this?? Follow me....
A lot of us are like this with so many issues that we have in our life, we've been going through some things for so long we've gotten used to putting up with them, it could be a habit, someone hurt you, anger issues, i don't know only you know what crazy issues are in your life and for some the world knows your issues, lol, especially if you put them up on things like facebook and twitter but that's not even the point-it's just the fact that there are things you've gotten used to and comfortable with or that you put up with when you shouldn't have to!!!!
Some of these issues we have lie dormant until they erupt and we're reminded "Hey, that issue's still hanging inside of me". What's my advice??? Deal with your issues!!!! For example myself, i should go see a doctor about my arm- what do you need to do or who do you need to go and see in order for your issue to get dealt with?? And may i also say a lot of us will need discipline to overcome our issues, some will need to let go of some things or some people. Do whatever it takes to be free, ask God to help you because i know for sure there is nothing he cannot fix, after all He's the maker of you *wink*.
According to Ephesians 3:20 God is able to do whatever we can ask of Him or whatever we can imagine, so
as far as your imagination goes God can go further than that-you get what i'm saying?
BOUND and hello FREEDOM
I dare you to be free from your issues, i dare you!

what's the point though?
I'm sitting in my bed thinking 'what is life really about?' I know the question gets asked a lot but am i the only who thinks if i die today or tonight what's going to make my life count? What have i done to touch the world? What have i done to change a life? I was talking to someone yesterday and she was telling me how someone told her to change her friends because they are uneducated.... Is this how shallow human beings are? A degree is what qualifies us? I watched a video today of a man who has dedicated his life to feeding the hungry and homeless, isnt that amazing? Isn't that what life is about? I know most consider the finer things in life to be material things, living a certain standard of life but is that all there is though? I say the finer things in life consist of loving the supposedly unlovable and the supposedly undeserving, giving to the needy and homeless, being there for one another unconditionally, give your time, give your money, lend a shoulder... these are some of the satisfying things in life believe it or not.
I choose to touch the world, one of my favourite poets says "I may not change the world, but i will touch it" so i, Chiedza Bvundura, say "I may not change the world, but i will touch it and i cannot fail at it other wise- what's the point?"
We're here only for a little while, make it count and make God your number one ;)

What happens when we get desperate??
Above everything else in my life i want to honour the God that i serve, He never fails... He NEVER fails!
On Saturday 3 November 2012 i can honestly say i experienced my first ever real heart pain, i have never in my life felt so helpless and hurt. You know one of them ones where a situation arises, you get notified about it and you sitting down when you're told and it makes you stand up on your feet in desperation? You want to go somewhere but you don't know where... Maybe you don't know what i mean and if that's the case i pray you never find out, but then again thats the reality check one might need!
I'm realising now that most of us are in the situations that we're in because we aren't angry enough to say "This stops now!" or "This changes now!!". I know we've heard this before but we are comfortable in our mess but i know that's not what God wants for us. You know, when i pray sometimes and i'm praying for change but i'm not desperate for change... don't know if anyone can identify with that. You want change but you don't want it enough that's why you still in that mess!
On Saturday i prayed to God out of a desperate heart, i begged God (believe me i have never begged God for anything, at least i don't remember begging God for anything) because i knew that only he had the power to turn things around and i say from my heart when i say this: You know that women with the alabaster box? or the one with the issue of blood? or Hannah who earnestly prayed for a son out of desperation because she knew only God could make it happen for her? i truly believe that was me on Saturday. I sat on my bed, my face covered in tears and i declared that things were going to change that very same day, i said God i trust you, i trust what you can do and i know by Your Spirit You can do this and guess what? By the end of the day the situation was turned around, it happened just as i had prayed for it.
I do have to say God always has me prepared for whatever comes my way. The whole of last week i was meditating on Psalm 20:7 and it says 'some trust in chariots and some in horses but we trust in the name of the Lord our God' And so when i heard the news i didn't doubt that i could trust God so i'm happy God has blessed us with his Word because it kept me kind of calm, well i wasnt calm but i trusted God,lol, i desperately trusted Him!
I think sometimes we dilly dally with our prayer life, i mean why should you continually have pain in your life? Why should you continually be in crazy situations when we serve a living God? We have been given the greatest name, and that's the name of Jesus and whatever we ask for in His name we already have it!
I spoke to my aunt on this day, i was in tears and she said something very profound to me, she told me she knew i was a prayerful person and she reminded me that a prayerful person doesnt just cry, a prayerful person prays! i promise i'll never forget this and i want ya'll to know that you don't have to stay stuck in your mess. The bible says you shall decree a thing and it shall be established but until we've had enough of our mess, until we get desperate for change in our lives we'll never be whole, ever!
Please let's get desperate for change and we'll see change, the bible shows this so many times!

Thinking in the shower instead of singing in the shower...why do we make fun of God??
I spend a lot of time in the shower, i love hot water so i just stand there till...till whatever time i get out! lol but i have to say my shower thoughts are the best thoughts because they are uninterrupted by anything or anyone. God is free to download His own thoughts into me. I'm able to see things with so much clarity. I know i'm not even the only one. I would go as far as to say the best ideas ever were thought of while someone was in the shower, but that's just a maybe because i wouldn't know for sure. I know a lot of people sing while in the shower but some of us just 'think'...well sometimes i sing too but not too loud.
Stop singing and think!! Ok, you don't have to but just try it. *wink*
Stop singing and think!! Ok, you don't have to but just try it. *wink*
Anyway, while in the shower today somehow my mind drifted to people. I thought about how it's not ok for anyone to call anyone ugly. I've always said 'only the one who made something can call it ugly because only he knows how it was supposed to come out', am i right or am i right? I'm soooo right!!
So i imagined a kid making fun of another kid because they had a big head (supposedly) and the big headed kid went on to ask the other kid if they wanted to be taller and he replied 'yes'. 'So why don't you just do it then, make yourself taller?' the big headed kid asked. 'Because i don't have the ability to do so' the other kid said with his face saying that's an obvious answer! 'So do you think i made my own head like this?' Big headed kid asked. 'No...' the other kid answered tentatively. 'Why?' Big headed kid asked again. The other kid remains silent before hesitantly answering 'Because you don't have the ability to do so'. Big headed smiled and said 'i rest my case' as he walked away.

*The end*
So my point is this: When you call something ugly you offend and insult the maker of it. It is sad that we make other people feel ugly for looking different and the thing is they can't change the way they look. Personally i am guilty of this but i have been trying to see everyone in the light of God.
I paint, i write, i draw and if i, for example, painted something that i envisioned in my head and it came out the exact way i wanted it to and when i showed it to someone and they thought it was ugly i'll be thinking 'that's offensive because you didn't see what i saw in my imagination world this piece is perfect!!'.
In my last blog i said i hated winter and it's like my song every single winter because i'm constantly saying it but i take it back. I don't hate winter anymore, winter is cold and i don't like being cold but the one who made winter made it perfect so i'm not gonna hate on it...not anymore...i shall try my best.
The next time you want to call someone ugly imagine how God feels because all he sees is awesomeness!!
love you lovelies, i'm off to work...in the beautiful cold winter *wink*

How about making up our minds before making up our minds?
so i have no plan for what i'm going to write on here so i'm going to be random. i'm at my house, in my room which i hardly ever leave, i never want to leave the house. It's cold and i really hate the cold weather, sometimes i say i wish God would eliminate winter but i don't think thats what i really want, lol. Now that i've said that i've just realised that sometimes we want something so much right, but when we finally get it we realise we didn't want it at all. I recently made a decision and i didn't like the results!! I made this decision after days of thinking about it because i wanted to make sure i was sure but after the decision was made i realised i was never sure, i had made up my mind from the first day i decided i was going to think about it. Now i'm stuck with this decision and i keep praying that God would help me reverse the situation because i can honestly say i think i made a mistake. So let me say this: if you say you're going to think about something please actually think about it and weigh the options as in actually weigh the options so that you don't regret it. I know that a lot of us have already made up our minds when we decide we're trying to make a decision. I once read somewhere that if you think you're confused flip a coin for the decision and while the coin is in the air you'll hope for just one thing and that one thing you hoped for needless to say is what you really want. Makes sense right? I knoooow! lol

i never thought i was ugly but i never thought i was beautiful...
'Hezekiah stops on a clearing without trees and looks up into the night. "What makes the sky beautiful?" he says. I look up, then over at him, wondering where the question came from, and what the right answer is. "Is it the stars?" He asks. "The moon? Is it the clear blue of daytime? Or maybe blue with puffy white clouds? Sunrise? Sunset? All of these things make the sky beautiful, don't they? Variety-from sky blue to dusky oranges and reds to the black of night. But i think it's more than that." He drops my hand and spreads his arms upward. "It's beautiful because the God of heaven made it. He is beautiful'
The quote above is from Kim Cash Tate's book Heavenly places which i have enjoyed reading immensely! As i say every time i read her books- she always challenges me. Heavenly places taught me a whole lot. I remember when i was growing up i didn't fit in anywhere. I remember being told that when i was young i was ugly, though they now use the word ugly in the past tense cant help but feel insecure about the way i look. Everyone, well almost everyone pointed out what was different about me, that i'm tall for a girl, my fingers are long, my face is long, my toes are long, my nose s big, i have a lisp-i talk funny etc but nobody ever told me that all those features are also beautiful. I cant lie and say i think i'm ugly because that would be a lie but i just find it hard to believe when someone tells me i'm beautiful and just like Treva in the book i just cant receive it. The other day i was sat with a guy and we were talking about something and he told me that i'm beautiful and my instant response was "Really?" and he assured me,lol, the 'really wasn't meant to be out loud, it was honestly meant to stay in my head. Every time someone calls me beautiful my mind races back to when someone once saw a guy i was dating(who was very handsome) and the words she said to me were 'Chi people like you arent supposed to date guys like that, its people like me that should' i responded lightly, what could say to a girl who had said to my face i didn't look like i could date a handsome guy, lol, its funny now that i think about it, how people will make others feel inferior so that they may feel superior. In all my grown up life only two people dared to call me 'not beautiful' and sometimes that drowns every other voice that has ever told me i'm beautiful. I've never thought i was ugly but i've never thought i was beautiful either, i just thought i was... nothing to look at really, nothing special about me.... except there's everything special about me. See just as Hezekiah says in the above quote what makes the sky beautiful is not only the blue sky, the gorgeous puffy clouds and all that, so much more makes it beautiful. Not only one thing that makes me beautiful, nope! It's my long face, my big nose, my ears, lisp that makes me talk funny, my skin colour and shade, not only my lovely kinky hair or just my body shape but its a combination of all these features but above all of this its the fact that God made me, there's nothing wrong with the way i look. God has always tells me that only the one one who made me can tell me when any part of me too big or too small so in conclusion, i was never ugly and never will be, my face isn't too long, my nails and fingers arent too long, neither are my toes, my hips aint too big. I love the way i look and i cant imagine myself looking any different and this is God's honest truth. I used to be insecure about my insecurities and this is the first time i'm sharing this in public, i know there's many people out there who are insecure about their looks for all sorts of reasons but you are beautiful and i know it sounds cliche but trust me, God made you the way you are on purpose
i waved 'bye bye' to insecurities-i'm free!
Be careful what words you speak to others because you never know what you may plant n someone's life, forgive those that trespass against you, and always remember you are fearfully and wonderfully made-you are not flawed in your make-up. Don't believe what they say, believe what God says.
i encourage all ya'll to get all of Kim Cash Tate's books, i learn so much every time and i'm currently waiting for her next one ;)

Scars... are they really permanent??
So one day i was at work and there was a pipe that's white in color but it had a red mark on it and clearly this white mark has not always been there. I figured that anyone else that tried to clean the red mark off probably failed as i did and so it seemed the red mark had become a permanent mark and everyone was used to it that way. Well... i began to realise how we do the very same thing.
I'm sure at some point we've all been through some sort of craziness and that's ok, it's a part of life. Some of these experiences leave us scarred and sometimes it seems it's for life but that's never the case. A guy once said to me 'no condition is permanent' after i had told him he shouldn't bother asking me out cause i already had a boyfriend(which was a lie) and he said he would keep trying because 'no condition is permanent', he was convinced i would be single at some point. Anyway, my point is when we've been hurt that's the same kind of approach i think we should take. I didn't date the guy but i'm certainly running with his phrase.
If it hurts you then its not a part of you so don't accept it regardless of how long the scar/situation has been there. I actually believe that everything can be fixed, YES, everything that has a maker can be fixed and that includes you and i. Your heart can be fixed if someone or some people broke it, the one who made your heart knows exactly how to fix it. Your health can be fixed because God who made you knows exactly how.
There is nothing God cannot do and if you hold on to anything let it be that word, just put your trust in your maker and all will fall into place. Some scars may take longer to get rid of, some wounds may take longer to heal, some situations will seem like they're here to stay... do not believe it,its a lie from the pits of hell!
always remember to pray about everything, the name of Jesus has great power ;)

what is life really about though??
Well... I've just finished reading a book by Kim Cash Tate called Hope Springs and i loved it! That book has taught me so much and it got me thinking. Her books always challenge me as a christian and i love that even more. My friend asked me what God was saying to me this morning...well now its yesterday morning and i said i'm about to finish this book and i'll let you know. So i'm going to share it with you readers as well, this is what i learnt from Kim Cash Tate's book:
Life is not always about what you want or how you want it to be.
You can't be selfish and inconsiderate of others, its not okay,
You wont always get what you want when you want it...sometimes you wont get it at all!
No matter how it feels, some decisions you need to make are going to have to be sacrificial&selfless,
The secret is to pray about everything and to trust God and that He knows best even when it hurts the most.
Every choice you make has consequences no matter how little or how big so you can choose to hold on to past hurts and pains OR you can choose to allow God to help you deal with it and let it go...
Open your mouth, open your heart, open your journal and pick up your pen- do whatever you need to do to talk to God and tell him exactly how you feel because only you know how...

Does He/She like you enough though or you're just being taken for a ride?
I was having a chat with one of my friends and we were talking about guys that string you along and yet they never tell you they like you, or that they want to be with you. These guys will treat you like you're their girl sometimes, and sometimes like you're just a friend and sometimes they are nowhere to be found. I'm going to tell you what i think will be going on based on how i think sometimes (yes me).
If you've had a fling with a guy for months upon months and sometimes even years and yet you still don't know where you stand with him please allow me to put things into perspective for you:
This guy likes you but not enough to be with you or to make it official, he'll keep you around while he searches for exactly what he wants and if he doesn't find it he will settle for you! In the meantime you're chasing away guys that want to be with you because it's him you want to be with... aint that sad?
Ofcourse i'm not an expert, i'm just a girl who's done the same thing to a few guys. Sometimes I didn't like a guy enough to be with him officially but i'll string him along just incase and just for fun, yes it sounds dumb but i used to do that.
Sometimes you're hanging in there in the hope that things will change, maybe he'll fall in love you eventually, maybe you'll have 'the talk' eventually, maybe he'll see i'm the one eventually....well,maybe all these things might happen eventually...but then maybe not, so why let someone take you for a ride and ditch you when they're done? Why allow yourself to be in a situation that will cause your heart to be broken eventually?
The bible says with good reason "Above ALL else guard your heart because it is the well spring of life". When someone is clearly playing games with you and you're in denial you'll end up getting hurt and that's when you conclude that all men are dogs, nah not all men are dogs, just that one that dogged you. If someone doesn't seem interested in you enough then they probably aren't so don't allow them to mess with your heart because always remember that every decision you make is based on the condition of your heart, and if your heart is broken then....Need i say more?
So today ask yourself "Are they taking me for ride, taking their time or are they just not that into me?"
Love yourself enough to never allow any guy or girl to mess with you, realise that God has kept for you that one person that will rock your world! Your creator says this of you "You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession..." (1 Peter 2:9) You're not just anybody.
Dear fellas, to the making of beautiful women there is no end.
Dear ladies, to the making of handsome men there is no end.
Just because someone is good looking doesn't mean they're good for you.
As for me, i don't care how gorgeous you are or how much money you have or what a fresh body you have, if you try to mess with me and my heart you're gone! But i had to learn to love myself, i had to come to terms with who i really am.
Only the one who makes me happy will make me stay...

The Beauty of a Good God-Psalm 147
Isn't it amazing how God just sends a command to the earth and His Word runs swiftly(verse 15)? Think about it, what word is he sending your way? what word is he NOT sending your way?

Compromising Christians
As a christian there are so many things i've said i would never do or things that i know i should not do. Most of the time this works but only for a while because most of the time i almost always decide to compromise in what i think may be a small way. But i've realised that once you start to compromise just a little bit you begin to compromise more and more, and the more you compromise the deeper you go and before you know it you've put aside what you really stand for or what you stood for in the first place. From now on i am deciding to die daily to the flesh because the moment we forget to die to the flesh is the moment we forget that we are not our own and so therefore we cannot do what we want. We belong to God and very often we cannot do what we want and please God...one of us has to give and it better be me and you!

Repent or Perish!!!
Repent or Perish!!
Luke 13:6-8
It is so easy for us to say 'I repent' yet we haven't actually repented. In this parable a man plants a fig tree and for years the fig tree produces no fruit and he decides to cut it down. The man who took care of the vineyard asked him to leave it alone for one more year,if it bears nothing then cut it down.
The fig tree represents us christians, the owner of the vineyard is God and the one who takes care of the vineyard is Jesus. We have been planted here on earth by purpose and for many different reasons many of us are not living out the purpose. Instead we have become comfortable because we feel we are safe, we don't preach the word of God,we don't use the talents and gifts God gave us to glorify Him and to bring many more to repentance. God is not pleased with this. God expects us to do what He said,to follow His commands even when it hurts the most.
Let's not feel safe or comfortable, make use of what God has given you, work with that and produce fruit,God is pleased with that. We are not saved for ourselves but we are saved to do the will of God,to change the lives of many for better.
True repentance is turning away from sin and walking in the will of God. Let's ask God for strength to do just that for we know it pleases God to bless us. Stay blessed
